The 9th edition of the BNIX Networking Event took place in the Belgian Comic Strip Center (Zandstraat 20 Rue des Sables - 1000 Brussels) on Thursday 27 of September 2018.

By choosing this place in the heart of Brussels, which housed the former Waucquez Warehouse until 1970, BNIX wanted to pay tribute to two Belgian icons, which are at the center of festivities this year.

Firstly, the Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta (1861-1947) realized, in 1906, the building, which hosted our event.

Secondly, in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the creation by designer Peyo of little blue creatures known all around the world, the theme of our evening this year was: the BNIX Smurf!

The event was introduced by Jan Torreele, director of Belnet, the Belgian national research network. The evening continued with dynamic presentations from DNS Belgium, Eurofiber and BNIX.

The 75 guests enjoyed the "Smurf" atmosphere, the walking dinner and various networking opportunities.
