BNIX and UNIX-Solutions find each other in their joint pursuit of an open and neutral internet

Unix-Solutions and BNIX will work together to further improve the local internet by facilitating the mutual exchange of traffic (peering) for an optimal end-user experience.

BNIX reports first ever drop in internet traffic in 2022

After years of increase, Internet traffic on BNIX dropped for the first time last year. Both average traffic and peaks were lower in 2022 than in the record year of 2021. The decline is due to the considerably lower impact of corona on our business and private life.

The European Internet Exchange Association (Euro-IX) gathers 73 IXPs from around the world. It was formed in May 2001 with the intention to develop, strengthen and improve the Internet Exchange Point (IXP) community.
